FAQ's and Policies

  • What makes your color low toxin?
    Color: The color I use is free of toxic chemicals, such as ammonia, methyl methacrylate (MMA), and paraphenylenediamines (PPD). In shorter terms, it is ammonia and heavy metal free. Products: Our wash and styling products have fewer, but better ingredients in them. The products that we use are free from parabens, silicones, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, and other harmful, cosmetic ingredients. Method: I exclusively use paper "foils". Not only are they reusable, but they also reduce direct contact with aluminum. It is just another way we can reduce unnecessary heavy metal exposure!
  • Can I work or have a silent appointment?
    Most definitely! We have free wi-fi for you to enjoy! I completely understand that you may need to work, or only get a little quiet time to yourself to relax and decompress.
  • Is it true that dirty hair is best for color?
    This is a long perpetrated myth. Two day hair is usually fine, but excess product build up and oils actually prohibit the color from working as effectively-especially ammonia free color like I use.
  • Where is your chair located?
    My chair is located in Sage Leaf Salon. SLS is located in Saint Michael, MN. Check out their website HERE.
  • Do you have a cancellation policy?
    Yes. In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I do require 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit. Should you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a fee of 25% of service total booked does occur. You will receive an invoice and that must be paid before any future appointments can be booked.
  • What if I'm going to be late?
    I always try to be accomadating when you are running a little behind. Life happens! If you know you are going to be late, please contact me or Sage Leaf Salon ASAP. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment, subjecting you to cancellation fees.
  • What is your re-do policy?
    I want you be satisfied with your final results. If you require an adjustment, please reach out WITHIN 7 DAYS of your service so I can schedule the adjustment free of charge. Please note that a re-do is different than not liking something on yourself even though it was delivered as promised and agreed upon, or changing your mind.
  • Can I book without a card on file?
    Credit card information is required to secure your appointment time and will be safely collected and stored within our booking system.. Charges will only occur if Cancellation, Rescheduling or Late Arrival Fees apply (Please see Policies FAQ's). Calling to book does not wave the credit card requirement.
  • What is your retail return policy?
    Retail products may be exchanged within 10 days of purchase. Unfortunately, at this time, products are not refundable.
